Which Headlights can I use with the Wagenvolks kit?
The Wagenvolks kit is compatible with any 5″ x 7″ LED headlight, offering endless possibilities to customize your Vanagon. Choose from a variety of designs and lumen ratings, including options with built-in blinkers, halos, Daytime Running Lights (DRL), or even vibrant RGB color displays. Whether you prefer a simple upgrade with brighter lights or advanced headlights that let you control brightness and colors through a smartphone app, there’s something for everyone. They come in finishes like Black, Chrome, or even Sparkly Crystal, and price points to suit any budget, the choice is entirely yours!
What year Vanagon does the kit work on?
The kit currently fits 86-91 Vanagon’s with a square headlight assembly. A conversion kit for 80-85 Vanagon’s will be available soon.
How do I install the LED Headlight Kit?

How do I adjust my headlights?
The headlights adjust exactly the same as the stock headlights. Refer to online resources for how to properly set your lights.
How is the visibility with LED light beams?
LED beams come in a few different variety of light patterns. Beam style is based on preference.
Wide Angel – These cast a dispersed beam of light that does not have a clear focal point. Things up close can be seen well, but light fades quickly in the distance. These lights can be identified by the diodes being held within reflective domes.
Projector Style – These can be identified by having round spheres in them. Diodes reflect the light through the sphere creating a beam that has a defined focal point with a clear horizontal line where the light ends.
I stripped a nut hole. What do I do?
Sometimes this happens when to much strength is applied to a screw. If the nut is spinning in the hole, detach the adjuster from the cage and you will be able to get the nut out. Then when reinstalling, use a washer before the nut. The screw will be long enough to tighten — lightly!
Can I Paint the Kit?
Yes! Paint will stick to the kit well.
